Our Mission

Our History
The origins of the clubhouse model trace back to a support group established in 1943 within the Rockland Psychiatric Center in New York. Following their discharge, members continued to meet in New York City, initially gathering on the steps of the New York Public Library to provide ongoing support. This group became known as We Are Not Alone (WANA). In June of 2023, the Belfair Community Clubhouse was established, dedicated to serving the needs of the North Mason community.
Our Team
Krissy W. Administrative Director:
Krissy is are dedicated Administrative Director responsible for overseeing the overall operation, management, and strategic direction of the clubhouse. She has been in the field for many years and is very hands on with members helping them reach their goals and finding the resources they need to live a more fulfilling life.
Tara M. Clubhouse Director:
Tara oversees the development, implementation, and evaluation of clubhouse programs and services. Which includes assessing member needs, identifying programmatic gaps, and innovating new initiatives to enhance member outcomes. She helps assist in day to day operations working side by side with members to help achieve and accomplish their goals.
Casandra S. Social Practioner:
Casandra is our dedicated social practitioner who works with members to provide support, guidance, and assistance. She strives on promoting the recovery and well-being of individuals living with mental illness.
